We still have several volunteer slots available to sell LOBO Gear on Fridays during lunches!! If you would like to volunteer to help the Athletic Booster Club sell LOBO Gear please contact Karen Wilborn, wilborn4@att.net to get signed up!! All proceeds go to fund all athletic programs at LCHS and the Booster Club Scholarship program.

There are still opportunities in all months of the fall semester!! If you can spare a few hours in the coming semester, let me know!! Thank you to all who have volunteered thus far!!!

The Lobo Cheerleaders will be hosting their annual Cheer Clinic on Saturday, October 16th, from 9 am – 12:30 pm at Langham Creek High School. All boys and girls ages 4 through high school are welcome to come take a picture with our mascot, get instruction on jumps, cheers, dance, and tumbling, enjoy a snack and take home a megaphone and certificate of completion!!

NEW THIS YEAR****** all participants are invited to perform on the field at half time during the LCHS football game on October 20th at 7 pm!! An exciting raffle has been added this year as well.

Pre-registration is going on now – $30 or $35 with t-shirt ($35.00/$40.00 at the door). Registration payment must be received by Friday, October 15, 2010. The Langham Creek Athletic Booster Club raises money annually for athletic equipment and scholarships for college bound athletes. The annual budget is over $200,000 per year that is raised through various fund raisers, such as the annual golf tournament, concessions, athletic program book, and souvenirs sales.

Be a part of the Langham Creek Athletic Booster club, make a difference and get involved. Please join the LCABC and help support your child’s athletics by completing the Booster Club Membership Form

Welcome back to all returning Lobos!!

The Athletic Booster club is an organization with over 300 volunteer members, supporting athletes and their coaches with equipment that cannot be purchased any other way. The two previous years have been very successful for both the boys and girls athletic programs in district seasons and most, if not all teams, have been to the playoffs and have even gone on to State competition. In addition to the athletics, Langham Creek High School has performed in the academic arena as well.

The Langham Creek Athletic Booster Club is one of the largest and financially strongest booster clubs in CFISD. It is made up of eager parent volunteers that enjoy being a part of successful, competitive athletic programs. Our parents are a vital part of our success of Langham Creek Athletics because of their volunteer hours and financial support.

LCABC Membership

A-G 8:00 a.m.- 9:45 a.m.
H-N 10:30 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.
O-Z 1:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The first 15 minutes of each session is an informational meeting. Parents and students are strongly encouraged to attend.

We are also needing parent and student volunteers to assist with Freshman Orientation. Any help, 1, 2 or 3 sessions, would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Susan Nolen, susan.nolen@cfisd.net or at 281-463-5410 if you are able to help.

PARKING SPACES will be sold to Langham Creek 11th and 12th grade students on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 in the auditorium, ‘first come, first serve’… 7:30am to  10:30am for 12th (Seniors) -and- 12:30pm to 3:30pm for 11th (Juniors)…  Tenth (10) graders, please listen to the announcements.  Your opportunity to purchase will probably occur in early fall, sometime.  (No spots will be held; you will have to have a driver’s license in hand.) 

 You must have all paperwork with you…

1. valid driver’s license
2. proof of valid car insurance for vehicle you will be driving
3. $50–exact cash/check made out   to LCHS, with ‘parking’ written on memo line
4. application form, downloaded from our web site and completely filled out with appropriate signatures at the bottom. 

REMEMBER:  All students must have been cleared, &/or, paid for outstanding textbooks/computer, fees & fines, and library issues.

 We will be needing parent volunteers to help out with the morning session, as well as, the afternoon session.  Please call Ms. Bettis at 281-463-5452.  Leave a message and indicate morning or afternoon.  Expect a return call to confirm.
