Congratulations to Lady Lobo Volleyball player Kearby Benak, who committed to play at Eastern University in Pennsylvania beginning in the Fall of 2010! We are so proud of her and will announce soon her signing date for everyone to come celebrate this special day.

The Lady Lobo Golf team would like to congratulate Kirby Kramer on an outstanding finish at Regionals this past week in Waco. Kirby placed 18th out of 95 players! Great job Kirby, we are so proud of you!
If you would like to be part of the 2010-2011 Lady Lobo Golf Team, please get in contact with Coach Todd.
The Boy’s Golf Team tied for 3rd in the ten team District tournament concluded at Cypress Lakes Golf Club, Tuesday April 13th. As a team, the Lobos finished three strokes behind 2nd place Cy-Creek and came close to a trip to the Regional tournament. Three strokes is less than one stroke per player. It was that close. LCHS can take pride in the effort and look forward to next year, as the Varsity only loses one player to graduation as we say good-bye and many thanks to senior Ryan Croft.
However, the season is not over for two members of the team. Michael Hanigan and Logan White move on as individual competitors in the Region II tournament at Twin Rivers Golf Club in Waco, April 22nd and 23rd. Michael’s 1st place finish in the field of more than 100 golfers and Logan’s 5th place showing earned them eligibility for the Regional individual title. Congratulations Michael and Logan!
A big thank you goes to Coach Thompson and Dr. Johns who took time out to represent Athletics and the Administration at the final round. Also let’s not forget the energy and focus Coach Rangel has brought to the team this year. The Lobos have had a great season and we are excited about what the team can do next year.
Good luck to Michael Hanigan and Logan White as they compete in the Regional golf tournament next week!
GOOD LUCK TO KIRBY KRAMER, LCHS GIRL’S GOLF IN REGIONALS IN WACO TODAY!!!
The Lobo’s Boy’s Golf team gave a strong performance in the 1st round of the 36 hole District Tournament, Monday April 5th, at Cypress Lakes Golf Club. The team combined for a total score of 312, led by Michael Hanigan’s tournament leading 72. Cy Woods heads up the team competition at 307 leading the Lobos who are tied with Cy-Creek by only 5 strokes.
Hanigan’s 72 was complimented with scores of 77 by Logan White, Connor Bertlshofer at 80 and Ryan Croft’s 83. The deciding round will be played Tuesday April 13th at Cypress Lakes. The two teams with the lowest combined score for the two rounds will advance to the Regionals.
Hit ‘em long and straight boys…Good Luck!!
A huge congratulations to Kirby Kramer! She is Waco bound! After playing two days at Cypress Lakes Golf Course, she qualified as one of the top 2 medalists in our district to represent Langham Creek and CFISD! Good Luck Kirby, we are cheering you on!
