It is time to dust off the clubs and swing away in the Annual Langham Creek Booster Club Golf Tournament…

Dear Lobo Nation,

I want to invite everyone to our annual LOBO Booster Club Golf Tournament and Auction, held on October 11that Longwood Country Club.(Monday; Columbus Day) This is our premier fund raiser for the year, with a team goal of $30,000 for all Langham Creek Sports Programs.

We all realize that involvement in high school athletics contributes significantly to the character of our youth and helps prepare them for life in ways that a classroom cannot.The financial support of the Langham Creek athletic program through dollars generated from this event helps provide a quality experience that will impact our kids for a lifetime.

We are asking every sport to put together foursomes with your friends and colleagues. If golf is not your sport we are asking for a tournament sponsor at one of the sponsorship levels. Please consider asking your company, or a company with which you do business, for a sponsorship commitment.

We often hear parents say that when their kids get to high school the opportunities for volunteering or being in the school, dwindle to nothing. Well, this year we have a great volunteer opportunity, and it doesn’t take a big commitment or a lot of time.

Each Friday during the school year, during all 3 lunches, the LCHS Athletic Booster Club will be selling spirit items (t-shirts and hoodies, stadium seats, magnets, car flags). No need to work every week or even every month….just give us a day here and there and this sales program will be a huge success!! The sale of these items goes to fund the sports of LCHS and the Booster Club scholarship program.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this volunteer opportunity please email Karen Wilborn at wilborn4@att.net. This opportunity is a great way to help our Athletic Booster Club, volunteer some time, and get to know the students and staff at our favorite high school in CyFair ISD…..Langham Creek High School!! GO LOBOS!!!!!

Brooke Tucker is looking for 4-5 volunteers to sell spirit merchandise on 8/26 at Meet the Lobos. She will need help setting up around 5:00 and will sell before and after the meeting. Please forward this to your team parent contact list if you have a roster at this time. Any help would be appreciated so if you can only work before or after Meet the Lobos just let us know! The deadline for submitting ads for placement in the 2010/2011 LCHS Lobos Football Program has been extended to August 20th!!!

PLEASE ACT NOW!!!!

Celebrate your student by placing an ad with a photo or two and a note from grandparents, family and friends. Band, sports, dancing, cheer, etc.

Please help us carry our LOBOS into the new school year with a personal ad in the Fall Program for your Senior, or to celebrate your student’s accomplishments. And also, please support our football program by letting us advertise your business or that of your neighbors, families and friends who would also like to support LCHS’s Athletics Booster Club.

Our in house designer will design your ad from scratch with graphics, text, business maps, etc., Just submit any pictures you would like with the wording and consider your ad 100% print ready for our 2010/11 Program.

Personal ads are a great opportunity to promote your team, recognize your Senior, athlete, cheerleader, band member, Bailadora, etc!!! The revenues generated from your ad purchases and programs sales are distributed across all LCHS athletics to fund needed equipment, supplies, scholarships, etc.
