In this year’s District 17-5A Track Meet, the Lobo boys came out of nowhere to show everyone that they are for real!  The Lobos started off with Chris Morales, winning 1st place in the Pole Vault with a height of 13’ feet.  Come out as he attempts to break the school record this Friday when we travel to the Woodlands.  Kenneth Thompson placed 3rd in Shot put with a throw of 47’ 11”. Andrew Juergens, led the charge in the 300 meter hurdles but was narrowly defeated at the finish line.  He captured 2nd place with a time of 40.07 seconds.  On to the relays, ALL THREE of the Lobo relay teams did well – in the sprint relay, Israel Giles, Owen Konneh, Jean Gonzalez, and Cornez Manuel brought home 2nd place; in the 800 meter relay, the same young men won 1st place and are this years 800 meter relay Champions with a time of 1 minute 28.12 seconds; in the mile relay, Israel Giles, Owen Konneh, Jean Gonzalez, and Jabari Salter had to overcome 3 teams to capture 2nd place.  They scored a personal best in doing so with a time of 3 minutes 22.02 seconds.

Please congratulate these young men as they head to represent Langham Creek at the Region 3 Meet held at Turner Stadium in Humble April 27th& 28th.
