Langham Creek High School Athletic Booster Club

Another Middle School Track Meet will be hosted at Langham this Wednesday, April 4th. Anyone who can volunteer that afternoon/evening for any amount of time, please email Gretchen Juergens at gretchiej@aol.com. Needing help in concessions and on the field – NHS students needing hours are also encouraged to volunteer. THANK YOU so much for your help and support!!!!

HELP!!! Looking for any students needing service hours that can help out at the middle school meet on Wednesday here at LCHS track. Hours needed are 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. You don’t have to work the entire 5 hours…..an hour or so will be greatly appreciated.

Langham is hosting the JV CFISD Basketball Tournament this Thurs., Fri. & Sat. We are still needing volunteers to work the indoor concessions on Friday, Dec. 2nd during the 4:00 and 5:30 games – and on Saturday, Dec. 3rd during the 10:00, 1:00 & 2:30 games. If you can help work during any of these time slots – please contact one of the JV Liaisons shown below. Thank you very much for your consideration and support!!!  We will return the favor in your time of need during some of your sporting events!!

All pre-ordered t-shirts will be available for pick-up on Thursday evening (Nov. 10) at the foyer of the gym from 6:30 to 7:45pm.

We have purchased additional shirts and will be selling them Friday at lunches and Friday evening from 5:00 to 6:30pm at the gym foyer.

Prices are $10 for shirts sizes Small to XL and $12 for shirts 2XL and larger.

Volunteers are needed Thursday evening, Friday lunches and Friday evening.

The “HOPE FUN RUN” will be held this Saturday, Oct. 29th at Langham. We still need many volunteers to work the concessions stands for the following shifts:

• 9:30 to 11:30
• 11:30 to 1:30

PLEASE CONSIDER DOING YOUR PART TO HELP YOUR CHILD’S ATHLETIC PROGRAM…. AND VOLUNTEER!!! We are in great need of additional volunteers for concessions and selling spirit items at all home game JV & Freshman football games – and to sell spirit items at all Varsity football games!!! (We have been unable to offer spirit sales at any of the sub-varsity games due to needing more volunteers!!!).

To sign-up, please contact your team’s booster club liaison… if you do not know who that is, contact Tracey Ross, Volunteer Coordinator, at trossski@hotmail.com and she will give you the correct contact info. for your team’s liaison. We do not expect you to miss your child’s game, but we ask that you work during a different game to help out others – “other teams and sports helping out each other”! Thank you so much for giving your time and support to LCHS athletics!!! All monies raised by selling concessions and spirit items helps support all girls and boys sports at Langham Creek!

We have had a great response to our request for volunteers to sell Lobo Gear during lunches this year!!! Thank you so much to all who have stepped up so far!!! We still have a few dates left where we need volunteers to help sell Lobo Gear and spirit items during lunches. We will sell every other Friday, beginning the Friday after Labor Day, September 9th. The lunches are from 10:15am to 12:40pm. All proceeds go to help fund our sports programs at LCHS and also the Scholarship Program for senior athletes at the end of the school year.

We also have another opportunity to get in on the fun!!! On September 16th, 23rd and 30th (Fridays) in addition to Lobo Gear we will sell Homecoming shirts. And on Wednesday and Thursday of Homecoming week (Sept. 28th and 29th ) we will sell Homecoming shirts only. So if you would like to sign up to sell Homecoming shirts and/or Lobo Gear please email Karen Wilborn at the email address below. September will be a busy month and these will be busy days of sales and we will need LOTS of help!!! This is a really fun way to help out the Booster Club and it’s fun to interact with the students and staff while you are there!!
